Lightbulb Timeshare Rentals - Get your ad noticed!

Have you ever been to a dance? Ever marvel at the bravery of those first few couples that get on the dance floor? More so to the point, ever notice how many others are watching them? You may be thinking what does this have to do with renting my timeshare? Well, our new timeshare auction section is a lot like that empty dance floor. And guess what? The first few that jump out there are going to get a lot of attention. Not only will they show up as recent listings on our forums home page, they'll be listed in our timeshare auctions page, and on the main resort page in our classifieds ads section. One example is our sample ad for Hotel Melia Playa Conchal in Costa Rica; your auction will end up on its respective resort page just like this. This is a lot of exposure folks. So if you were ever afraid to get on the dance floor, this is your chance to see what it's like to be the first at something, but stand to gain a lot of looks. By the way, our auctions have a view counter, so you'll know exactly how many times someone has looked at your ad. What better way to see results from the small amount of time it will take to place your ad.
Do you have doubts about what an auction will do. Well, consider this, they aren't much different than a normal ad.
  1. You specify a minimum price, just as you would if advertising, so you aren't at risk of giving away the farm. This is probably the most unrecognized issue with an auction. Many believe that if you auction your timeshare, you're giving up control of how much you sell or rent it for. This is not true. So long as you set your minimum price at an acceptable level, you can't go wrong.
  2. Auctions typically run for shorter periods of time, but putting your ad back online is not that difficult. Besides, you can run a FREE 60 day auction right now and get all that added exposure at no cost. We will soon be introducing the ability to automatically relist an auction, which will significantly change how you will manage your ads. This one feature alone will close the gap between auctions and classified ads even further.
  3. Our auctions allow members to post questions and contact you directly. There are no ending fees, so you can decide at anytime to close your auction and proceed directly to final negotiations with an interested party. Of course, it may make sense to consider letting the auction run its course, since the whole idea is to generate momentum and a growing interest in the unit you are trying to rent or sell.
So, take the plunge. If you have a timeshare you really want to get some exposure for, try out our timeshare auctions section, and see for yourself how many places your ad will appear.
