Timeshare Resales Advice Please!!!!

Can someone (preferabbly someone who has actually sold their timeshare) give me advice on how to sell mine? I do not want to pay a company any money, I heard thr horror stories. Please someone help to give me solid step by step way to sell this thing and let me know if it is possible to sell it without paying a company. No theories please. REAL ADVICE

Do not pay any company an upfront fee that is more than a reasonable amount for advertising, $75 at most. There are many sites where you can list your timeshare for free or cheap. Also be realistic on your price. Many timeshares are only worth pennies on the dollar. So if you paid $20000 for you week, don't expect to get that in return. Count on 10-40% depending on what you own. Also this is probably the hardest sellers market in our history. Prices that would have been obtained months ago will be a lot lower today.
