Exclamation This is interesting...I thought timeshare...

was treated as real estate in most states. Wisconsin now is considering treating timeshare like hotels! And they want to tax them accordingly... The news article suggests that the state wants it's share of the timeshare industry's payments, but I think they've forgotten that timeshare (at least the deeded stuff) is real property. I wonder if this effort will actually succeed? If so, maybe they need to change the laws governing how it is transacted, and make it more like vehicle sales rather than real property. Interesting!
