RCI-Don't waste your time or money!

I have been a member of RCI for 8 years! Availability is terrible, god help you if you want to get a large unit! Don't waste your money like I did, you will be dissapointed!

I agree. After almost every booking I've made with RCI, I've had to put in a complaint after by stay. I have now quit RCI for the unrealibility and am trying to sell my timeshare becaue it's just not worth it. And selling a timeshare is an other horror story.

It is the biggest con that there ever was. Most of those going into that industry are ex cons anyway!!! It is a horrible white collar crime scamming, systematic and allowed legally to rob people. Horrible failure of the Mexican government to protect their visitors. I hate it. I would never go there again. I am that put off by them!!!

As an owner of a Grand Mayan Timeshare, we have options to exchange in RCI after paying a exchange fee which is ridiculous. Then, as you say, you can only go when no one else wants to go, where no one else wants to go and then the exchange is not of the quality of the timeshare we own! Our approach in exchanging with RCI now is, "Here is when we want to go; what is available?"
