Grupo Mayan in MX takes your $$ & leaves you high & dry

We bought into Grupo Mayan in 2009 to the tune of $8000. Supposedly they would buy out our other timeshares at Costo de Oro (which by the way is a great timeshare but high maintenance rates) which would repay us the $8000. Then we found out that another business was really responsible for selling our timeshares & we paid out another $299 for them. They were also supposed to rent out our Grupo Mayan timeshare every year & pay us rent. Of course nothing ever developed & we are out $8299! We used to love going to Mazatlan but after this experience we are not interested in being bilked out of anymore money! We are poorer & wiser! Don't buy anything in MX. Most are scams!

I am so sorry that you lost all that money. Yes, they are total crooks. They are there in Mexico for purely dishonest, criminal reasons. I undertand why you would not want to go there. It put me off also. Too much trickery and dishonesty. They have targeted people from the US for sure and also the UK.

JUST KEEP ON POSTING YOUR POSTS ....INSIST ON FOREWARNING OTHERS PLEASE SO THAT THEY RETURN THE MONEY TO YOU IN THE END! JUST KEEP UP THE EXPOSURE.
