Review: I received a good price for a last-minute travel to Margarita. I booked a three bedroom three bath suite. I had a late check-in and was told that there was water restrictions at this resort and they will turn the water on for one hour for us to freshen up. I thought it was pretty good actually for them to have a policy like that enacted for late check-in's. I don't know what the water restrictions are for Margarita as a whole but here the water was off from 2PM to 6PM and 11PM to 6AM. The staff were nice, and some spoke English. There was a little restaurant there it was priced right had great staff and had pretty decent food. There's also a little store at the facility had about anything you needed, although his hours were not always kept but I don't really blame him. They had Internet, it was pretty fast and wireless around the lobby area. They also had a large pool that was well kept, and cleaned daily. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable the linen and towels were clean. I also have to say that facility did not smell. I find that a problem staying at hotels around the world. I gave an overall rating of 6 but for Venezuelan standards it can probably be a little bit higher, and for worldwide standards a little lower. The place is due for renovation, but in its day, I bet it was great. Little things that would not cost much at all to repair were not. A leak under the sink in one bathroom. No toilet paper roll holder in the bathroom up stairs. The spring behind the door was bent and rusted the drain in the shower bent and sticking up and was kind of dangerous, a leak under the sink In the kitchen. Look $100, and one day's work could raise the facility standard a point or 2. For an RCI (Resort Condominiums International) facility, I am disappointed that it did not have cable TV. The TV was small had an antenna and no DVD. I recommend Guacuco Beach , and Rattan Plaza.

Review:  Serena Hernandez of CaboVillas and I were in email contact on numerous occasions about free and unrestricted use of the property during our cruise ship vacation. I told her we would not do an "official timeshare tour" but would view the property with possible ownership in mind. She even sent us a "day pass" and a certificate for a free taxi ride. When we arrived by taxi to spend the day, she was not on duty. Another lady greeted us and said "NO". We could not use the property unless we took a full timeshare presentation and tour. The public beach area and its food stand were available to us. Mr. Miguel Mallon and Ms. Monica Aragon, both managers, refused to meet with us personally. We were totally ignored by everyone except the one lady who continued to say NO. I would never trust these people. I would never trust buying a timeshare from them. They were liars and misrepresented themselves to us. They would not apologize, meet us halfway, or even pay for the taxi ride!!! Bad business people, bad public relations. We suggest walking to the MELIA a couple hotels up the beach for a warm, friendly, welcome and COMPLETE DAY USE of their facilities by cruise ship passengers. STAY AWAY FROM CABO BEACH VILLAS. This could have been handled very differently.

Review: 121 Ke Nani Kai was the best condo I could have gotten. My two week stay in November 2008 was delightful. The condo was sparkling clean (I met the cleaning lady!!), the furnishings were tasteful and comfortable. The ocean views from every room were breathtaking, and romantic (imagine waking up to the sound and the sight of the ocean every morning !!). I have nothing but praise for this unit. I HIGHLY recommend this condo unit. It even has a very comfortable pull out sofa, in case you have any overnight visitors, which we did. The free secure wireless internet access was most appreciated so we could stay in contact with friends, family, and work.

Review: We really enjoyed our week here. The most amazing this was we didn't see or have any contact with anyone for the whole week! We have been timeshareing since 1981 and this is the first time I have ever seen this-it was a nice change from the usual phone calls and meetings to go to. We had a 2 bedroom unit which had a great view of the ocean and we enjoyed having coffee out on the patio every morning. The walk to the beach was a nice one on a boardwalkand when you got to the beach it was a nice gentle slope which made it easy to walk on. It has a large outdoor pool but the heat was off which was a shame because the weather was sunny the whole time we were there except for the last day but there were not a whole lot of people there so I understand that the cost of heating it with no one there is a consideration. They have a large heated indoor pool and jacuzzi though so that made it nice. The grounds and building were very well maintained as was the unit. We went out to eat two nights and we very satisfied with both places We went to the Channel Marker and I had the blacked tuna,my companion had scallops and our other companion had lasagna and we were all very pleased with the service and quality of the food. We also went to Amos Mosquito's which was having a half price special on the entrees starting at 5. I had the fish special which was very good ( Can't think of the name of the fish),My other companion had scallops and our other companion had pork chops. We also tried the fried dill pickles-very good! Service was excellent as was the food This was after the season so there wasn't much going on but we just wanted to sit on the beach and relax so it was perfect for us. No complaints about the resort but just to let you know there are only 12 timeshares here so it's hard to get into. :)

Review: First, discount the 'near beach' part. In fact, if you are into beautiful beaches on your doorstep (as opposed to a 800m hike down to a grubby patch of rubbish and debris strewn black sand) don't bother to go to Medewi Beach Resort. However, if your idea of a relaxing holiday is lying by the side of a terrific pool, being looked after by the epitome of 'beautiful and gentle people' in a lovely tropical setting with hardly anyone around, you will love this place. The food was terrific. My wife and I have lived and travelled in Asia since the mid-70's, we love Indian and Indonesian food and we were not dissappointed. The service was 'typically Bali': in other words, terrific and provided with grace and a genuine display of pleasure in the service of their guests. We are fortunate to have travelled reasonably widely and would be delighted to go back. Enjoy.

Review:  Despite confirmation to the contrary before our departure, all the facilities were closed!!! We had the room for a week, and left after only one night, it was so bad. I've been to the resort during prime season and it was great, but off season with NO amenities simply doesn't cut it for a family with young children. Our family has previously been to Smuggler's Notch during prime season, and although the shared pools were a bit crowded, the overall stay was great, and the private pools for our area especially so. This time, however, we were told that everything was up and running, only to find (upon arriving from out of state after a 6-hour drive with both a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old) that nearly all the amenities were closed! We were most disappointed to find the heated indoor splash pool was closed, since it was cold and rainy. During our far-too-long-single-day at the resort, we did try the outdoor lap pool, but that doesn't cut it for keeping two toddlers entertained (too deep for them to stand but the brisk winds mean you can't take them out much either)! Worse (and mind-boggling to me), the staff wasn't even apologetic! They just shrugged, and after saying "it's closed? I didn't know that" just said "well, I guess you could try something else instead," but wouldn't give me a list of alternatives, so as I interrogated them, admitted that one thing after another was closed (all restaurants but one, driving range, tennis, other pools, even local area attractions). They did have a mini-golf course open (9ish holes, but you can only do 2 rounds tops with a 3-year-old... and probably less for an older child!)--although someone had forgotten to unlock it--and a joyless "entertainment room" about 15'x15' with toys for children... but no windows, and a depressing place to spend any amount of time. Everyone we bumped into while on the resort was either angry or asked us if we were--it seemed to be a very common topic on the resort that day. Our room was available to us for the entire week, and we left after less than 24 hours. The front desk people were unable to do anything for us, shrugged and gave an "oh well" look when we told them we were checking out after less than a day, and management has yet to return any phone calls.

Review: Well let us tell you one thing "WONDERFUL?. Amazing! Kauai Coast Resort was by far one of the most memorable vacations our family has ever had. We took 4 members of our family on vacation. The room was out of this world, it was like staying in a model home. We had an ocean view room on the third floor facing east, so we could see the sunrise every morning. Yes Hawaii is a little expensive however, having a beautiful room, fully equipped we found that going grocery shopping and being able to cook in a few times and relax around a pool really saved a lot... The concierge booked all of our excursions. We went to Smith's Luau, where Shell worked it out that we had our own table and we were the first to eat at the buffet. We also went horseback riding, kayaking, ATV riding and sunset catamaran cruise, all for the first time. The spa was great also and the workout room had every type of exercise machine you can imagine. This was second time using our Shell Vacation Club; everything was so easy all we really had to do was pack. I can’t wait to for our next vacation. We take a big trip every other year...and.........we will go back in two yrs. Best Regards, Michael and Nancy Feldman P.S. Don’t miss the owner’s update they definitely make it worth your while. :D

Review: Had a great time on the tour at the resort. Bob was excellent and i was eager to sign at the end of the presentation. BUT i already decided not to sign with this company due to the worst customer service ever. GRACE, the assistant manager at Stratosphere Tahiti Village ruined our whole weekend. Gave us hell when trying to check in for the tour. Was rude and disrespectful (her mother forgot to teach her manners) and i was disgusted by the fact that she was supposed to be the team leader and set a good example. She was a total bitch to us and didn't even have the courtesy to greet us the next day. No one should have to deal with this kind of disrespect.

Review: We go there every year and only visit one Disney park per year because it is so expensive and tiring for both parents and the kids to be at the theme parks all day. So the rest of the time we spend it at the resort by the pool or golfing while the kids were very much entertained by all the activities they offered. We have already visited all the Disney resort and next year will probably go to Universal Studios. Great fun and relaxation for everyone including the adults.:D

Review: Justreturned from a week stay at the resort. The staff, location and rooms are wonderful. Very peaceful & relaxing . This place is remote, so if it's lots of activities, night life or being close to a touristed area this may not be the place for you. The only negative aspect was the quality of the food. Simply, it's awful. I lived in Indonesia several years and really enjoy the food. At the restaurant the Indonesia food was juts plain bad. I can understand that western cusine would not be perfect, but to have poor quality Indonesia dishes is unacceptable.

The one bedroom units are very small, and the queen size bed is a small queen. Nice floating restaurant nearby. Internet service is a much better deal at the marina next door. Sam Own Campground nearby is spacious but also has a very rocky beach.

Review: We just stayed at Club Trinidad 5-14-06 thru 5-17-06. We were so excited to be on a family vacation until we walked in to this place. Seriously this place is so old & run down that it's commical. Our unit was along the same lines. Outlets did not work, furniture was broken, holes in the walls, mold in the shower, LOUD air conditioning, small uncomfortable beds, broken remote on TV, etc... We had to decide in the first hour of our trip to not let this ruin our vacation. Thank goodness we have a good sense of humor about us. Our children did not realize how bad the place was and they had a good time. We never told them any different. Please consider this our kind warning to you and DO NOT STAY HERE! There are tons of timeshares to choose from, find another. Shame on RCI for not keeping better tabs on these sorts of places.

Review: i do belive it is a unique style of management and guest. i do believe that members are talked to in a way that the club knows if it wants you rather than desperation for a sale... i think a certain type of discerning guest/member is required for the resort. someone who wants predominantly the space to action a very gentle relaxer of a week on resort. having said that there are 100 and 1 opportunities for adventure in many guises available from the inhouse entertainment team, special tours in brief; birds, crocodiles, baboons, flora, fauna, cycle rental, senegal trips, paradise beach, market, local artefacts, restaurants of high quality and low in price,, reggae, african mbalax, european music..... on resort there vis nightly cabaret and events and daily pool entertainment, giant chess, boules, beach volleyball, football and much more... only your energy and imagination will dictate your beginnibg and end to who you have fun peacefully or excitedly... being a member for over ten years i have no complaints with resort management.

Review: My husband and I have stayed here for many years. The resort is always a pleasure to stay in. Nice large pool, huge game room for the kids including ping pong and pool table and a nice walking dock with a small beach along the gulf. Beautiful views and lush, tropical landscaping. Very unique units/"pods" that have excellent storage underneath with laundry facilities for each unit. This was great for storing rafts, fishing poles, coolers, bikes and any other big stuff. It comes with a key for locking. Nice tropical furnishings and very convienient to grocery (Winn Dixie) which is right across street. It is also close to excellent beaches - Sombrero beach is behind the grocery, down a road and on the ocean side. It has the 1950's style patio areas that are covered, beautiful trees that are great for photgraphy, and also had an owl that had a nest burrowed in the ground which was roped off for protection. Interesting. One of the top 10 beaches in the country is just a few miles down the road called Bahia Honda. It is a state park and the views are breathtaking. You have a choice of two different types of beaches. One is a secluded lagoon with the 1950's patios and quiet water that you can snorkel in. The snorkeling is incredible (awesome fish) and the water is shallow enough for children to enjoy. The other side of Bahia Honda is wild and windswept with waves and is on the ocean side. There are facilities to shower, eat and shop. This resort is close to party boat and deep sea fishing. It is located in the middle Keys so a day trip to Key Largo for snorkeling, Islamorada for fishing or Key West for fun is easily in the cards. If you do catch fish be sure and have them fillet it on the boat and carry it to some of the local restaurants for them to fix. Excellent, cheap dinner. Don't miss the sunset toast in Key West for a great time. Adults and children will love the street performers on the water. My husband and I had scheduled a trip to the Reef last year but the hurricanes did some pretty heavy damage to the grounds and game room, so I would suggest checking their website before you make any decisions. Enjoy it for a laid back vacation! We certainly did!!!

Review: The directions from the airport were perfect - we had no trouble finding it right off of the main island highway. There were just 2 of us in a one bedroom, and the size was perfect. It wasn't a huge unit (except the balcony!) but it was clean and comfortable and plenty spacious for a couple. The kitchen was serviceable, but we never used the small table and chairs inside, preferring the larger table and chairs on the balcony and the lanais out there as well. The umbrella was a nice touch for those who may be sun shy. Upon arrival, the fridge had eggs, milk, juice, a bottle of water, bread, butter and jam! I've never been to a resort that supplied any food items beyond a starter pack of coffee so I was completely blown away. Only thing lacking was a roll of paper towels. The big bathroom also had shampoo, shower gel, sewing kit and some other extras. The large round tub was plenty comfortable for long soaks. There were many dining options and always night-time entertainers. the pool was huge, plus there was a second pool, a jacuzzi, a pool table, ping pong, giant chess, kids club and other activities, not to mention an excursion coordinator that we found very helpful. There was a computer you could use at reception but my vacations are to get away from computers so we didn't even inquire as to the fee. There isn't a lot within walking distance, except there is a spa and a chinese restaurant and we enjoyed both. As guests of Paradise, the spa was 8 euros each. We opted not to workout and instead headed right for the hydrotherapy pool. Definitely go to the spa - it was well worth it! A month or two before our trip, we had received a letter from RCI that said there was no mid-week cleaning, but we had maid service twice! They were so cheerful and nice, just like everyone else at the resort. There is a convenience store on site, which was great to have. We were told to buy drinking/cooking water and it was reasonably priced at the minimart. For me, the best part about the resort was being able to see the ocean and neighboring La Gomera from our balcony. We toured 2 other Club La Costa resorts, but this is the only one with ocean view. I would stay here again.

Review: Since we own a 2BR lock-off, we were able to split it into a 1BR and a studio so we could stay two weeks. A kindly salesman loaned us a coffee maker, since the studio has no kitchen whatever. Actually, our "studio" was not the usual Master Room which can connect with a 1BR suite to make a 2BR. Instead, it was what some called a "Honeymoon" unit in the building at the foot of the huge reflecting pool and very close to the beach. Our second week, the 1BR/ small kitchen, was in a building set farther back but the view of grounds and ocean was lovely. And who could complain about such a beautiful walk? There were three large resturants, one of which specialized in seafood. Two were roofed but mainly outdoors, as is customary in this climate. The third was walled on three sides and I believe it was going to be given a fourth to please the gringos! We enjoyed the outdoor settings, including the occasional cat that wandered among the tables. They serve a huge breakfast buffet, so eating there in mid-morning and having dinner in the evening worked out well while kitchenless. There was a fiesta one night with great music and natonal dancers. Tours can also be taken from the resort, and you will want to go see the fabled cliff divers. One night we took the shuttle to Sea Gardens, an attractive but smaller Mayan affiliate, for dinner around their pool. All in all, Mayan Palace Acapulco is probably what you saw if you dreamed of vacationing in Mexico!

Review: Unlike most US timeshare units, this one has no automatic dishwasher or clothes washer/dryer. However, maids do come in daily, leaving towels in charming shapes! Laundry can be done on the grounds. The kitchen is small in one and two bedroom units, but adaquate for most vacationers who usually plan to eat out at least once a day. There are good resturants on the grounds which we enjoyed plus pool snack bar and "Xbar" which is sort of a night club. (I recommend that only to those who are deaf already.) The "Master Room" style unit has no kitchen but is large and comfortable. It is actually a lock-off which changes a 1BR into a 2BR when the connecting door is open. (We had the 1BR.) My favorite event was the manager's party on the big covered patio which curves out into the reflecting pool. There is something rather special about drinking (free) pina coladas on a warm September evening while the tropical rains fall inches away! The Mayan Palace entry in across from the marina. There are shops and eating places around the marina, as easy walk away, but be warned. The stores in Mexico really do tend to close for Siesta! If you don't mind sitting through multiple time share presentations, you will have ample opportunity to do that in P.V. and can get most of your entertainment packages for little or nothing! We happened to be in this location on 9/11. There were candles and flowers by the door of the US Consulate and the resort only charged maintenance fees to Americans who were temporarily trapped on the wrong side of the border.

Review: Shoreline Towers is an older resort but has a superb location on the beach. 2 and 3 bedroom units are very roomy and include washers and dryers, big living rooms and dining rooms and equipped kitchens. A big plus: two bedroom units have two baths and three bedroom units have three baths. Each room also has a big balcony overlooking the pool and beach. Gulf view from the units is excellent. The pool and kiddie pool are beachside and very nice. There is also a shared grill area for cooking out. The elevator is slow and the parking lot is small, but the location is among the best in the area. It is a five minute drive to most restaurants and attractions. This is a great family place with lots of room for all. If you like the pool and the beach, and need a lot of room for a reasonable price, you will not find one better than Shoreline Towers.

Review: PLEASE THINK AGAIN!!!! There are many other properties in Cancun you can visit! I vacationed here Xmas / New Year 06 and I was not at all satisfied. We were very disappointed in the property, represented as a 4 star resort. It is far from that and I am sure it has been for quite a while. The hotel does not resemble anything on their site, or any reference sites. It is run down, from paint on the walls inside and out, to ?amenities?. The damage from Wilma was extensive to say the least. The property was about 50% open, in fact all of Cancun was about 50% shut down. The ?hotel? staff is totally indifferent to the guest, especially within the rooms that owners are renting out ? yes; this is a sort of time share. The maids showed up intermittently, morning on some days, afternoon on others, not at all on 3 of the days. That was just as well though, as there was a rash of thefts (3 or 4) attributed to a maid? Out of the claimed 2 restaurants and 3 bars, there was one of each barely functioning, with flies all over the food and again, an indifferent staff. My package was all inclusive and the food was about average. At least the cooks tried? The business center, game room, room service, car rental and travel agencies, beauty salon, marina and water sports advertised were nowhere to be found. The ?tennis courts? is actually one and I can understand it being damaged. There was hardly any beach at all! That brings me to the room. My ?junior suite? did not appear to be any bigger than regular rooms, as I had the chance to walk into the destroyed ones. The condition of the room was just awful. Dirty walls and furniture, stained mattresses and cushions, bare light bulbs, light fixture in the kitchen falling out of the ceiling, rusty appliances. The deadbolt on the door did not work and there as no safety chain, it is very unsafe! Like I said, buyer beware! If you want pictures, e-mail me to solymar_sucks@yahoo.com

Review: This resort is great! It's located on the Key West Bight so views of the Marina as well as the Gulf. You can go to the top of the buildings, and away from the crowds at Mallory, and see the most beautiful sunsets in the country. On-site fishing, Tiki bar, pool, hot tub and private beach (with a floating dock) so no need to even leave the resort area if you don't want to venture out. Of course, for those who do, Duval is only 3 blocks away and Mallory one more block past that. Excellent local restaurants as well as entertainment, all within walking distance. Rent a bike, scooter or electric car if you don't want to walk (the island is 2 miles by 4 miles). Remember to ride the Conch Train when you get there so you can get the history and see the island. Most restaurants are casual however I highly recommend you try Louie's Backyard for a romantic evening on the water. A bit pricy but worth it. I plan on going back next year.

Review: Championship tennis and golf within walking distance. Outstanding family Sierra skiing 20 minutes away. Some of the best California wineries are in the neighborhood and INCREDIBLE cave/spelunking experiences. The folks at the resort are very accommadating. It's very peaceful. Outdoor dining in the spring, summer and fall. Calaveras Big Tree State Park is just a couple of miles away where some of the biggest redwoods have been preserved to walk and pinic amoungst. A GREAT FAMILY GETAWAY...
