Description:	Cabo San Lucas, located at the southern tip of Baja Peninsula, is well known for its dry, tropical climate and famous as one of the best spots for deep-sea fishing. Marlin, dorado, sailfish, and swordfish are the best catches. Beautiful scenery abounds as nearby mountains continue into the peninsula, narrowing at its end to form a magnificent natural stone arch, carved from the beating of the waves over the centuries.

Pros:	Centrally located, friendly staff, nice pool areas
Cons:	Not on the beach

We found the Marina Fiesta to be a very nice place to stay. Our studio unit was well equipped with two queen beds and a kitchenette. I loved the shower - it was huge.
There is a lot to do at Cabo San Lucas, so we didn't spend all that much time in the room.
There are a few swimming pools at the resort, and we claimed one of them as our own. In the week we were there, we usually had it to ourselves, but we still had good service from the pool staff.
(There was a "party" pool in another area, for those wanting more fun and excitement.)
The Marina Fiesta is situated on the Cabo San Lucas harbour. We walked around and looked at the boats and yachts in the evenings, and never had any trouble or feared for our safety. It was walking distance to the pubs and restaurants on Squid Row and a short cab ride to Cabo Wabo, a must-see club owned (I think) by Sammy Haggar.
There were good restaurants in the Marina Fiesta, but we found them a bit pricey.
Cabo is pretty expensive all together, but there are reasonably priced grocery stores and great little cafes in the non-tourist areas. (I'd recommend the fish tacos and lemonade.)
We had a very nice time in Cabo and at the Marina Fiesta.
