Pros:	Beautiful location, many activities, indoor pool, well maintained
Cons:	Not all with elevators

Stayed at Tree Tops in April 2005 in a 2BR. Trip was for grandson on spring break. Lots of people had the same idea. There were loads of kids to play with that week. The indoor pool and many activities kept the kids occupied. The resort offers Dollywood two days for one day price and discounted groceries at the market a couple of miles away. The resort is within walking distance of downtown for the young or a short drive to the community center will put you at the trolley stop. The trolleys service downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the arts and crafts community. I recommend avoiding trips to towns on weekend days due to traffic, just wait until Monday to venture out or head into the Smokey Mountain Park. Try the Motor Nature Trail which ends at TreeTops.
The units are spacious and decorated for the locale. Everything needed was there. Most units have either a gas or woodburning fireplace with logs free on site.
Gatlinburg from this resort is a great vacation. You'll like it.

Cons:	management staff is rude and unprofessional

If your going to Tree Top for a day or two, or even a week -- it will be fine. If you are thinking about buying a timeshare unit---DON'T !! It will be a nightmare. The management staff is horrible. Rude and unprofessional at BEST !!! They are SO impressed with their job title and themself --it's comical !! And--if you do decide to buy a timeshare there --- DON'T USE THEIR LAWYER !! We sold our unit (or better yet--are in the process of--thank god) and the buyer chose to use their lawyer. (Karen) The transaction should have taken 10-15 days, but 6 weeks later--we're STILL WAITING !!! She went on vacation for 2 weeks, but didn't disclose that b4 she took the job, and now has the "I'll get around to it when I get around to it attitude" She has to mail us the papers instead of faxing them, or letting us bring the deed, sign the papers, and get the check, so we'd be done !! They will tell you that Tree Top is sold out, so you have to buy from a private party, but look at their site. Dozens of people dying to sell for 15-20 cents on the dollar of what they paid !! And--they won't tell you that there's a class action lawsuit over the RCI point thing, unless it's been settled by now. Look somewhere else--do yourself a favor
