La Villa Della Regina, situated at 1815 mt. at the top of the Gressoney Valley, was built by a Baron's family and during the 19th century was one of the homes of Queen Margherita of Savoia. Gressoney has three separate villages: St Jean, La Trinite' and Staffal, where the resort is situated. Staffal is a small village and the main skiing centre. The 3 Valleys have 53 different lifts and approx 200 km. of ski pistes, some of which have the facility of snow making machines. Walking and climbing possibilities are numerous in summer and during high season the chair lifts and cable cars are in operation.
