Hotel Madonna Dolomiti (1236m) is situated in Ortisei in the heart of the beautiful Dolomites, the 1st of 3 villages in Val Gardena, all very well known as ski re- sorts, under the Sella group of Mountains. For those who do not want to ski, the town has an ice stadium, indoor swimming pool with sauna and solarium and just a couple of kms away a sports centre with tennis, squash and billiards. The Val Gardena is part of the Dolomiti Superskipass Area and links with Val Badia. Santa Cristina is on the World Cup Ski circuit. The area is equally attractive in summer with marked walking trails, cable cars and chalets.
