Pros: All beachfront units
Cons: Hot tub locked up at 5 PM.

Stayed week following 9/30/05 as exchanger and a couple of extra days renting. I'm not an owner here. This was a return visit. Weather was good, mid 80's(warmer than usual) days and 70's at night. AC worked great. Gulf was still about 84 degrees F and just right.

The resort office is open until 11PM on CST check in days. Late check in is handled other times by the security person by calling ahead. The resort reserves the right to change the unit asignment so you may not get the unit the exchange company assigned, we didn't. About the only difference is the Phase 1 building doesn't have whirlpool tubs and it's close to the Holiday Inn with its' noise. Phase 1 building has room number from 1 to 7, Phase 2 has rooms 8 to 14 with the 2 BR units on each buildings corners. There are 7 floors of units each building and the ground floor without units. There is one elevator for each building.

Entering the spacious units you are looking out the full glass living room upon the beach which was just replenished and the Gulf. The bedroom has the same setup with the balcony in front of it. The 8' x 10'? balcony is accessible from the living room or bedroom. There is a large bath on the bedroom with plenty of counter space and a 3/4 bath at the condo entrance. There were plenty of towels, with a towel exchange on Tuesday brought to the unit, bar soap, and new paper with a back up roll. The unit was clean.

The kitchen was well supplied for cooking and eating, coffee maker with filters, blender, mixer, large refrigerator, range with oven, dishwasher with detergent, and there's a mini washer and dryer in a closet. A closet in the hall contained an iron and board, broom, mop, and a vacuum.

Counter top dining is provided for 2, and seating for 4 around a table. The wallphone is by the counter.

The living room consisted of a full size sofa/sleeper and loveseat, a small tv and vcr. A second tv in the bedroom. Plenty of cable channels provided. Furniture was a little worn in one unit, but newer in the second.

The bedroom had a king bed with good quality mattress and decent furniture.

Amenities were a good sized pool at 90 degrees, spa, and hot tub which locked up at 5 PM though. Towels and lounge chairs provided at the pool. Beach setups and umbrellas available for rent from a vendor. Activities were a breakfast orientation and a grilled hamburger get together midweek. A Publix grocery is only a couple of blocks, Sweet Basil's Italian Restaurant is across the street, Waffle House close, and a Burger King is almost onsite.

This resort is a little older, but kept up, and provided an enjoyable beachfront vacation.
