Pros: Great outdoor activities:
Cons: It's a 2 hour drive from the nearest airport. The amenities are a bit dated, but very confortable and extremely clean.
Review: Championship tennis and golf within walking distance. Outstanding family Sierra skiing 20 minutes away. Some of the best California wineries are in the neighborhood and INCREDIBLE cave/spelunking experiences. The folks at the resort are very accommadating. It's very peaceful. Outdoor dining in the spring, summer and fall. Calaveras Big Tree State Park is just a couple of miles away where some of the biggest redwoods have been preserved to walk and pinic amoungst.
