Description:

Calampiso is on a promontory called San Vito lo Capo, which is 80 miles west of the city of Palermo. The area is one of outstanding natural beauty. As well as catering to sun worshipers and water-sports fans, there are many worthwhile excursions to take from Calampiso. Boat trips to the Egadi Islands leave from Trapani daily, and the Phoenician towns of Erice and Salunto are within easy reach. A visit to the Greek temples Segesta and Selinunte is also a must. The resort offers an entertainment troupe day and night, as well as a mini-club for children aged 3 to 12 years.
