Discover the splendor of Oak Creek Canyon, considered to be more beautiful than the Grand Canyon. Arroyo Roble Resort offers tennis and racquetball courts, indoor/outdoor pool, and an exercise room. Oak Creek, a site for terrific trout fishing, borders part of the resort's nine acres. Jeep tours of the canyon and nearby American Indian ruins are a favorite side trip. In winter, Flagstaff's Snow Bowl ski area is within an hour's drive. Spend time enjoying Sedona's art colony that retains a Western ambience. Sedona has four mild seasons with snow three to five times annually but lasting only one to two days.
