The resort is part of Sun City which comprises three hotels (including The Palace of the Lost City), and one of the biggest entertainment centres/casinos in South Africa. The Pilansberg Nature Reserve is only 10kms from Sun City. The Valley of the Waves which is part of Sun City is a complex of water slides, man made sea with 2 metre waves, beach and lush tropical gardens. There is a golf course on site, a crocodile farm and a lake with all sorts of water sports. This resort is an ideal fun holiday place - an oasis in the parched African landscape.
